The Mad Hatter

I have a confession. Since I was a child I've had an unhealthy obsession with hats; this includes, but is not limited to, party hats, novelty hats, 'fashion' hats, and hair accessories. What can I say? I just bloody adore hats and fancy things to shove in my hair, mostly because I am not very good at styling it. I own a fair few but also have this weird tendency to try hats on in shops, be it busy or quiet, as I have little to no shame (much to the amusement of my boyfriend/mother/grandmother - delete as appropriate). About three months into my relationship with the boyfriend he started documenting my hat trying-on sessions and I thought I would share a few of the shots in a blog post (although not all are from shops - some are just photo's of me that he's taken when I happen to be wearing one of my own hats!). I have SO many photo's, as they have been taken over the past four years, which shows my weight fluctuations (*cough* yo-yo-dieter *cough*), changes in hair colour and length, make up changes, the lot. This might be a regular Monday feature for a while. What do you think?

Clearly rockin' the hillbilly style y'all

There are no words for this one.

If I was about 4 stone lighter, I could pass for my
mum in the '70s (she was tiny and I am large)

Foxy Lady...well, the hat is fox-like at least

Ps. Did I mention that I like hats? I think I did. I like hats...I have a problem that needs addressing. Enjoy hat lovers of the world!

    1. Aww, I'm sure you are, really. To be honest, I probably wear hats that look bloody awful on me but wear them anyway because I like them. I'm a bit weird like that!
